Default Zodiac inflatable boat

We are thinking about purchasing a Zodiac inflatable boat. Any experience with them? We like to trailer camp and boat, but we can only tow one or the other.

Used them extensively in the military, mostly the MK4 F470 Commando and the MK10. Great boats, very reliable and tough. Even the civilian models I've seen are really great.

You are on to some great technology. Quality inflatables like Zodiacs are forgiving in rough water and stable. Get a quality pump to run off you car battery to inflate with.

I've had one for about ten years. If you get one, I would suggest going with the inflatable semi-rigid floor rather than the floor boards. The floor boards can be tricky to install.

I didn't know there were different types of floors in them so I appreciate that tip about the semi-rigid type of floor. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a used Zodiak?

Craigslist works great for boats. You may have to travel some to get what you want.
