Default Cooling neck wraps?

I've been hearing about these wraps that you soak in cold water for a short period of time and then it stays cold for like 2 hours. You wrap it around your neck and it helps keep you cool on hot days.

Has anyone ever heard of or used these?

Yea! My husband uses these when he's working outside in the summer. He said it really helps him and he now he uses them at work and at home. He's such a big fan of them he even got them for his employees.

I've never used them, but I'd buy one to try it during hot summer days. It would be great if it could reduce chances of getting migraine attacks.

I've heard of them, along with the head wraps you dip in water to help cool you off. Never used either one of them.

Here is where I get mine: Cooling Neck Wrap | Personal Cooling Products | First Aid & Safety Online. I get these every year for all of us. The girls love wearing them because they can get them in different colors and patterns and it really helps keep them cool.

That's pretty cool. I have often wet a towel, or even the hat I was wearing, but I hadn't heard of these. It's great that they actually work and they are really inexpensive. It's definitely something I will be trying this summer.

There not hard to make. My wife makes them all of the time. She uses the water absorbing crystals you put in plant pots to keep them moist. She got the pattern somewhere online. You can't wash them in detergent because the crystals will dissolve but you can rinse them out, let them dry and use them again. I soak mine (and a spare) overnight so I have a spare when one gets hot. I'll see if she still has the pattern URL and post it.

Hey! I've got those. I love them but I bought mine at the local camo store. They didn't cost too much but I guess you could make them, if you could sew. I don't know if I could even get a sewing machine started!
