The weather is much nicer then. Too hot in the summer for me to take the wife and kids. So I do get some alone time, when I can make it out, but I am really wanting to take the kids. I was just teaching my daughter how to geocache.

I love hiking during the fall, too. The weather is just perfect. It's cool but not too chilly. Hiking during the spring is okay, but I don't hike as much during the spring because of all the pollen around that causes my allergies to act up.

I enjoy fall hiking immensely. I have had some spills after slipping on wet leaves though and some steep trails are quite slippery when covered in damp leaves, but the views are amazing and the weather is perfect.
