Default Three mile starter walk

They spread ash on the ball fields last week to melt the snow so baseball can begin, so I loaded ole dog, ole grandma and I in the truck. We did a quick 3 miles around the park walks, now ole dog is icing his sore muscles in a snowdrift outside, ole grandma is taking a hot shower and I'm sitting here writing myself a memo to take plenty of Ibuprofin on that first backpack.

Glad to hear that you got out this weekend. Did the same myself enjoyed it a great deal. Was a short over nighter. Got of work at 6p Saturday night went out for the night and then back to work at noon on Sunday. To bad as the weather was nice had a hard time making myself leave and go back to work.

I wish I would have got out, congrats to those who have, I was too busy doing renovations to get out on the trail, the family would have been unhappy if I left the bathroom repairs to go for a hike.

Hope to get out this weekend again as I will be off work. Seems the last month every time I have a day off it has been raining cats and dogs. I know it lazy but I hate to go out for just an overnighter when the weather is like that . To much work to clean gear when it gets all muddy for just an overnight trip.
