Default Allergy test

Anytime I go outside into the wild I still get bit up but I am wondering if I could get an allergy test, maybe a general one so the doc could prescribe me something for the problem I have with misquotes. Does anyone know more about this who could point me in the right direction?

Hmm for misquotes, I'd suggest a good editor. ;-)

For Mosquitos, I don't know if there is anything you can do besides use an antihistamine like benadryl. I have a friend that had such a bad reaction to chigger bites then she needed a course of oral steriods. She's much more careful about using repellants now. I'd consult my family doc to see what , if anything, can be done.

Unless I come down with west nile, I think the deet did more damage to me than the mosquitos last week. Hippie, good planning to avoid the bad seasons may be your best defense. Easy to say but when you make plans months in advance and have an unusual season, even good plans go bad.

The new allergy test they came out with will not indicate mosquitoes allergies. That is the one where all they need is one vial of blood. You would have to go to a specialist to get that allergy test ran.

Wonder if your better off preventing the bits with type of clothing and repellent. Not sure that there is serum to increase your bodies tolerance to Mosquitoes.

I've never heard of a test, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Mosquitoes are nasty little things and I have yet to understand a reason they were created. Nevertheless, I would try some local Benadryl cream as well as a general antihistamine for the bites.
