Default Another season closes

It makes me sad to think another camping season is just about over. We just put the bikes and camping gear up for the winter. We didn't get to go as often as we would have liked but maybe next year.

It's not over, just time for different gear

Warmer gear at that! We still try to head out before it gets too cool. We have one child who can manage to get sick in any weather so we save the harsh trips for when we have a sitter.

It is just starting for me. I don't go during the heat of the summer. I do however go for the rest of the year.

Im just putting stuff together - But I'm thinking I'll be a three season camper - Spring, Fall, and Winter. Summer in SC is too miserable to do anything but hang around inside with the air conditioning.

Come on down to Florida. It is great now. Mosquito's are disapearing, the weather is in the 70's. It is nice at night when you can sit next to a fire and not loose more water from sweat then you can drink.

Going out this weekend gonna be perfect weather. Highs on the low to mid 60s and getting down to the upper 30s at night.

Yup, my side of the mountain should get some snow tomorrow night (according to the weather guessers). You should have some awesome weather after this front comes through though. I haven't looked at the Gorge specifically but it looks like highs around 60 and lows around 40 for 5-7 days after the front. It's 86 right now though and they are calling for snow in about 24 hours. Gonna be some NASTY wind tonight.
