I love to camp and we always take a camper with us. We drive respectfully and make sure that the lights (brake and signals) all work before we take off. What irritates me the most with some people (campers) is that they don’t have the proper lights on their campers – this is not only dangerous to the others driving around them but to themselves too. I also hate it when someone will go a lot slower than the speed limit (most likely because they are pulling a camper that is heavier than they should be pulling) and they do not move off the main road. They have a line of vehicles behind them.
Please tell me you are a respectful driver too when you camp. I would say this is one of biggest pet peeves about campers.

Yes, yes I am. It freaks me out when I don't know what others are doing and worse-if they don't know what I am doing, how can I expect them to give me the space that I need?
That is true - people do not take into consideration the fact that driving a camper is quite a bit different from driving a car. That goes for the people driving campers as well as other drivers.
