Default Bees bonkers

Bees have been driving my bonkers this year. Every time I go camping it seems like they can not help but to check us out. I would not mind but I have a child who is allergic to them. How do I keep the bees away?

What I have done in the past is set out a good size glob of jam on a couple sides of the camp spot, maybe 15-20 yards away from the camp. The bees will jump all over that stuff. I also noticed at home when I barbecue chicken on the grill that it seems to attract hornets.

Great idea northern - I didn't know the answer to this. I didn't think there was a way to get rid of bees besides swatting them away all the time. We have been having a lot of bees at our house.

One of our favorite camping spots in Lake Arrowhead, CA has terrible problem with meat bees........ we can't take the kids there because the problem is so bad.... no amount of the jugs or jam on toast will help they are everywhere.... very sad because we really do love that spot
