Default Bigfoot

I'm new here on this forum, and haven't seen any "hairy biped" threads so far. I have no idea how to start this thread so I think I'll just throw out some links first...

Personally, I've had three episodes (in woodlands of Iowa) that can't lead me to believe that my experiences were anything that a human or a four-legged animal could do.

What do you all think? Has anybody had any odd experiences in the woods or near woods that would lead you to think that it was maybe one of these creatures? Some of us are skeptics, some of us don't know, and some of us believe that it is possible. I'm in between "don't know" and "believer." Please no jokes, thanks

P.S. Happy Fourth Of July, everyone!

No personal experience here but I certainly won't laugh at those that have had them. I find it hard to believe that with heat seaking technology or infrared tech that someone hasn't found one if they exist but I also know some of these wilderness' are mighty huge with large tracts of land that are seldom visited.
That leaves me in the "undecided" category rather than skeptic.

Read all those Frequently Asked Questions links, and your questions should be answered

Specifically this one: Where Is The Physical Evidence?
http://bfro.net/gdb/show_FAQ.asp?id=407

But there's more info in everything that I posted above. Interesting stuff. I don't mean to get all serious here, as I'm not a total 100% believer either -- Just thought I'd bring it up

Edit #1: Oh, and game cams and electronics and guns and etcetera with not catching the animal on cam or whatnot... There's a reason for all that too if you read deep enough. Makes you think twice. I've read all of it, and I've had 3 or 4 encounters (maybe). Experience what I have or what thousands of people have said (for no money, by the way), and read all that stuff, then come out saying, "Nope, I don't believe in it." -- It's impossible to say no to all that if you're a witness and an internet reader. Anyways, I'll shut up

Edit #2: I'm open to everyone's opinions -- I just don't want this to be a joker's emporium to sell jokes for free.

Even though I've never seen or experienced anything like Bigfoot I like to keep an open mind to the possibility that they do exist. If it's confirmed that they exist I just hope to never seen one while I'm camping.

Spend a good deal of time in remote locations backpacking. Never seen one or any signs of one.

I want to believe. I just like the idea. And really I don't think it's out of the question. In lots of places in the PNW, you can be ten feet off the trail and completely out of view of hikers walking past.

I have a bucket hike planned. 105 mile loop. And inside the perimeter of that 105 mile loop there are NO trails. Most of that 105 miles will see less than 10 people a year and half of those will be rangers on patrol to keep the trail open. It is a big, rugged country and heavily forested. Lewis and Clark picked the easy route through those mountains and it took them six weeks to go 100 miles, from Lolo pass, down the Lochsa to the confluence with the Selway. 500 elephants could live in that area and no one the wiser, let alone what stories we have of Sasquatch. I'm not saying a bigfoot lives in there but the possiblity is definately there.

Does bigfoot exist? I don't know, but I am extremely doubtful that one could live in a highly developed state like Iowa and escape detection.
