Default Camping Out Of The US?

Has anyone ever gone camping out of the US? I was thinking of this the other day and thinking how interesting it would be to do. I'm too big of a chicken to try it though.

Not yet. I do have my passport set up and ready to go. Right now I am waiting because I need to save up the money to do it. I am hopping to camp outside of the US in the next 2 years.

I want to camp outside of the US, but the government won't give me my passport! It is really stupid and just red tape, it really burns me that I can't explore the world because of this.

I haven't been able to camp outside in the US, but would definitely love to try it out. Hopefully, I'm able to get some time off from work to do so.

I usually don't trek very far,
when all around me black bears are.

Hi...

I've heard other people say how LONG it took them to get their passports. I'm guessing it's the lack of the knowlege and/or lack of sufficient personnel that might have something to do with it.

I applied for my passport through a local Post Office, and got it issued in a remarkably short time. I don't think it took more than seven days.

I've been out of country a few times, but only camped in various places in Canada.

Uh oh...!! Is that ANOTHER hand grenade hurling toward me?
