Cleaning up

When the camping days are over, cleaning up is one of the hardest things to do, especially when there are kids who nag you to be quick about it.

I get the kids involved in the cleaning; try giving them a goal like picking up ten pieces of trash or working together to accomplish a bigger task.

We clean up as we go so there is no really big clean-up when we are all done. Taking the pop-up camper down is a big pain though! I like the idea of getting the kids to help. Usually we send ours off on their bikes to ride for an hour while we tear down.
