I think both have their place, but it would be a different experience for us. It would also add boating to the experience. I like that aspect as well.

Owning a cottage would be a novelty for me. I'd really love to have one.
Well, if I were to choose between camping and cottage, I'd say, it depends on the weather. If it is too cold or raining, cottage is preferable. Otherwise, camping is good enough.

You don't have to be in a remote location to have no TV, radio, and cell phone. If you want to be away from those things just turn them off.

Cabin would be nice, but variety is still better and I can't put the cabin in my backpack.

I just worry about being there and something breaking, or going wrong and I am not used to the place. I guess it will be ok. I told him I want it the long weekend in May.
