Do you pack all your food or do you buy some before you get there?

I pack most of our food but occasionally if there are a few fresh things we need like vegetables and fruits we'll stop somewhere before we get to the camp site.

For us it really depends on where we are staying. If the drive there is lengthy then we might not take the cold items such as milk. We'll stop somewhere closer to our destination to pick it up.

We don't travel too far, and our trips are usually only 3 or 4 days, so I try to have everything all set and packed to go. There have been a couple times where I have forgotten something and had to make a quick trip to the store.

Depends. If I go on a longer trip there's no way I can bring enough supplies for it, so I rely on some shopping. But that rarely happens, because I like shorter trips in general.

We usually bring all the food with us as we car camp. However it depends on who we camp with, there may be a beer run once in a while. Or a run for something that we forgot. But once at the campsite I don't like to leave.

We try to get everything ahead of time but sometimes time just runs out and we wil stop on the way and pick up what we need. I like to have everything and not have to leave campground for anything.

I have to have everything we need packed before we leave otherwise I feel too disorganized. The way my brain organizes things I would feel uneasy if I didn't have all my bases covered before we left. Plus, since we often to travel to new and unfamiliar places I don't want to run the risk of having to look for something that can't be easily found.

Honestly, I hate carrying lots of things during camping trip unless we are using our own four wheels. I'll surely pack canned foods, tidbits and ready to eat items. I'll also bring our cooler for items that needs refrigeration. I prefer to shop fresh meats and fruits.
