I don't handle the "Chad is here - time to stop thinking and trying because he can do it faster" moments very well. Then people consider me an A-hole when I'm uhhappy that they showed up late, asked me for help, then wandered off to the bathroom until I had their tent up for them. Or on day two their cooler is totally out of ice because they can't manage a cooler and they want me to give them one of my frozen milk jugs rather than go out and refill their own cooler. Then I'm the problem when I say no.
I guess your not a Ranger.

Most Rangers have seen about everything when it comes to camping habits...

I love camping with my family, but I have to admit that there are a lot of times when I wish I would be able to camp on my own more often.

It really depends on my mood. I personally wouldn't mind going camping with a bunch of people, but I also enjoy going solo every now and then.

Are we talking camping or hiking trips? For camping (car camping) I wont go alone anymore because the fire and I have decided at least 3's better company and I miss someone grabbing firewood while Im cooking heh heh.

I get the itch to solo sometimes. Might do it someday, and I've got this great little one-man tent for it. But for now my priority is getting my kid out in the woods. Closest thing to a solo trip I could imagine in the near future would be just me and him. My wife likes camping, but not quite as much as I do, so I could see her wanting to sit out a trip or two.

Haven't gone solo in years, before I had kids. Now it's always with family and select friends which I enjoy quite a bit.
