Default Dog crate

Right now our dog is still a little hard headed and I am thinking of getting him a small crate to take on our outdoor adventures. Does anyone here have a cloth type one? I was looking at them but I kind of worry he might chew through it.

Having a crate is a good idea. It won't be easy to get the dog used to the crate but it is worth it. You will have to learn how to crate train the dog and have patience.

Does it have to be a clothe one? I feel they are more difficult to clean. I would just buy one of those small plastic carriers that come in two halves that fit inside of eachother when you're storing them away. I have two of them from Petsmart.

There are also folding crates (sometimes called "portable kennels") you could look at too.
They're a heavy wire mesh.
