Default Early Riser?

When you go camping do you like to get up real early or do you like to sleep in a while? I know most of the time we are up early and sitting out at the camp table having coffee and just listening to all the 'outside' sounds. I know some that sleep really well and seem to want to sleep later. Which are you?

Both.
Depends on days activities and who I am with.

I'm an early riser at home so I'll probably be an even earlier riser outside. I'll be the one to get coffee going (we do get coffee right?) and take a walk and watch the sunrise.

I like to get up early, but sometimes I am tired so I sleep in.

I would love to sleep in, but my husband cant sleep once the sun comes up.

Alice came to a fork in the road," Which road do I take"? she asked.
"Where do you want to go"? responded the cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter".

I''d love to get more sleep but tend to wake up early. I can lay around and toss and turn but just end up feeling sore. So I get up and get some coffee going and enjoy the quiet time alone by the fire.

We are normally early risers so we are up early when we get to go camping. And it also depends on what is planned for the day. Sometimes it is fun to sleep in for a little extra 'zzzzz's'. But then our idea of sleeping late is getting up around 7 or 7:30.

I'm usually up before sunrise. I'll take my sleeping bag, back pad and a book and find a scenic spot to read.

My wife on the other hand likes to sleep in.

So I have plenty of time to read, or sometimes I might take a short hike and explore the area and be back in plenty of time to make her breakfast.

One of my criteria in selecting a campsite is a fair amount of eastern exposure. I'm normally an early riser, but it's soooo much easier getting up after the first rays of sun hit the tent and it starts warming up. It can get pretty cold in the Rockies at night, even in the summer.

If my mood is good yes even though I already wake too early on non camping days. The only days I get to sleep in are when I am sick or there is a power outage.
