Default Geocaching?

I have recently discovered geocaching. I have been told that some parks now participate in hiding caches for their visitors to find. I was wondering if anyone geocaches and if you have had any luck finding them when you go camping?

Welcome to the forums, JeepThrills!

Haven't really tried geocaching yet, but planning to give it a try with my nephews when we go out camping during the summer. Hopefully we get lucky and find a few stuff.

Welcome to the forums Jeep Thrills. Yes, there are some serious cachers in here, they'll be along and comment. Pull a log up to the fire and join right in.

I never tried geocaching but I do plan to in the near future. I just need a better GPS device and I'm set. Welcome to the forums, by the way.

Thanks for the link! I own a Jeep Liberty. It's a 2002 and getting some miles on it, but I still love it. It's just small enough to fit into tight parking spaces, but also has enough room in the back to haul anything you want!

I've been reading about that, and it does sound like a lot of fun. We're planning on doing that this coming summer. Hopefully, we get lucky and find a few of those hidden caches.
