| Good camping spots I live just south of Atlanta, GA. I am looking for some good locations to camp out. I usually go to Warwoman National Park, up an old logging road, where after 15 years they finally built a latrine. I don't care for running water, electricity or the latrines. That's just not camping. I have a family of 5, myself, wife & 3 kids. My wife prefers to have a place to use the toilet. I'm just trying to find a good secluded place that is new to us. We prefer the preserved locations because we like to teach the little ones about nature and her ways. We like hiking and exploring. Clayton, GA is about 2.5 hours away from us by car, and we like the weekend trips to tranquility that we get up there. So, any ideas that would keep the travel time less that 4 hours from my place? To be more specific, I live roughly 17 miles south of the Atlanta Airport.
