| You could always take the stern approach... tell them that when they can afford to pay for the cabin on their allowance then they will be able to sleep in one.
But personally I would attempt to keep the whole family together. Maybe strike a deal, this time we'll stay in the tent and next time we can stay in a cabin. Who knows, maybe they will enjoy the tent and not even want the cabin next time.
