I only transport my snowmobile so ill just be getting a slam to put it. Anyone else do this? I have a 162 Cat and sometimes will transport a 3 position movie trailer. I know it will have some overhang, I'm just involved with how it will drive.

Alvin,
Can you rephrase that? I am confused.

I like the bicycle wheel idea. Many ways to do that one (using 2 bike forks, or rear triangles of bikes) -- I'm sure there's a hundred different ways. Using wheels, it'd be way easy to pull a heavy tote or two over an 18-inch log.

I was looking in the toy department today at WM and seen a variety of sleds. I like the cheap $5 "disks" they have -- seem sturdy enough for more than a few years of dragging on the dirt, and they have places to drill holes for ropes and tow ropes and whatnot, and have a nice "lip" for bungee cords, and big enough for my large blue Rubbermaid totes (one tote per disk though lol).

WM also has a little wooden Flexible Flyer toboggan but it's 49 bucks -- That's a no-go). I have 2 of the OLD Flexible Flyer rail sleds (the ones that are 5ft long and 2ft wide and weigh a ton) but they're pretty much keepsakes and I won't use them for this purpose lol.

Edit: The "disks" are a little wider than I'd like though :-/

I'm confused too. I think maybe he didn't read the entire thread and is thinking of "sleds/snowmobiles/snow-machines/etc" hehe .

Sure there is a little communication gap but he's trying. It makes life interesting trying to figure it out. Nothing for me to worry about and the effort will help him improve.
