Default Homemade Soup Weather!

We love to make up a big pot of homemade soup to take along with us when we camp in cooler weather. It will last a couple of days and it is full of meat and veggies so it's quite filling along with some crackers or corn bread.

I know just what you're talking about! We love to make up a big pot of this stuff to take along with us when the weather has cooled way down. It's real easy to warm some up and the funny thing about homemade soup is that is seems to get better each time you warm it up.

I love homemade soup and I make it at every opportunity. I just made a huge pot of chili and I will probably be making some vegetable soup in the next week or so. We haven't been camping since it got cold but it is nice to have after a long ride or hike in the cool weather or after a fall football game.

Nothing beats fall time and home made soup! I love it too. I make a big crock-pot of it on Saturday and we eat off it for a couple of days. Sometimes I make it on Sunday and we eat Sunday and then again in the middle of the week!

I made a big pot of chili yesterday and homemade veggie beef soup today! We freeze it when I make it so we can pull it out on a weekday and eat it. I usually make 2 big pots of whatever I make.

It's gumbo season.

We are doing a potato soup tonight for dinner as I am in my soup mood being a little under the weather. No one tends to mind, as long as I remember to feed them when I am sick all is good.

I usually don't trek very far,
when all around me black bears are.

In the cooler weather...like today...for example...I like to make a pot of pepperoni/veg soup...!! Yum. Yum.

Soup would be great. Lately in the mornings I have switched over to tea instead of coffee too. I guess something about this year makes me want to eat (and drink) a little healthier.
