Hot water system Does anyone have a suggestion for a hot water system they use and would recommend? My wife refuses to go camping in the winter without one.

I will assume you are talking about a water heater for taking a shower? I have looked into these solar shower 5 gallon bags but have not bought one yet. This one has good reviews on Amazon Amazon.com: Advanced Elements 5 Gallon Summer Shower / Solar Shower: Sports & Outdoors Everything else I just heat water in a pot over the fire.

Coleman hot water on demand. I read some reviews and it seems to be good. Kinda pricy though.

Would a solar powered water heater work as well during winter? I wonder how much efficiency you can get from it with partial winter sun. Last edited by grand; 03-11-2010 at 06:31 PM.
