How Long Is Your Vacation?

How much vacation do you get from work every year. Another question, how much of it do you spend out camping and doing outdoor activities? I get 4 weeks every year and I would say we spend at least 3 of those weeks camping. The other is spent doing household chores.

We spend about 10 to 15 days camping each year over 3 to 5 trips. Normally our camping trips are short but sweet. As the kids have gotten older, working around their schedules has become more of an issue.

My wife and I usually go 4 or 5 times a year. We love to camp but both of us have careers that prohibit a lot of away time. The kids are always up for camping though. I'd love to be able to go more.

I camp as much as possible. Lately, my new job has been getting in the way of my real life, but that will change. Last year I enjoyed 2 months of travel, much of it camping, but that wasn't vacation time. It was more like "quitting my job to go walkabout" time.
