Kid Just Got Hit By Hit And Run Driver At Local Campground

I was listening to the police scanner just a bit ago and I heard a child was struck by a hit and run driver at our local campground. They had to have been going pretty fast to do that. I sure hope the kid is OK.

This is horrible. What is wrong with people? How could someone drive away after hitting a child? I hope the child is okay too and I hope they catch whoever did this.

That is so terrible what a horrible end to a family vacation. I hope they catch whoever did it. I will never understand how you could hit someone and then drive off!

That is so awful. How could you drive away after hitting any person. The chance between life and death could depend on if the driver stops to help provide care and I think that is the responsibility of the driver.

That is a shame and I hope they find the person who did it quickly. Camoguy-have you heard anything about the child? Is it alright? I shudder every time I hear of any child getting hurt. It's bad enough for an adult to get hurt let alone a child!

Drunk drivers should lose their licenses on the first offense. I hope they catch whoever did this and lock him up and throw away the key. How terrible to hit a child and drive off. That person is nothing short of a coward.

I hope that poor kid's O.K. So kids aren't even safe walking in campgrounds anymore? What's this world coming too. I hope they catch the guy quick.

Ah, that's a shame. Poor kid just trying to enjoy some fun. Campgrounds can be a dangerous place for the little ones unfortunately.

I hope it all works out and my thoughts go out to the family.

That is a shame. When we have kids with us I don't let them run rampant. But we do let them run around with some freedom. Never had problems or worries. But this goes to show that you just never know. Unfortunately there is some dumb, stupid, careless, no conscious people out there. That person should turn them self in and face the truth.
