Default Kids Tent

I was wondering if, while camping, your kids had their own tent or does everyone sleep in one tent? If your kids have their own tent, what kind is it? Tents are going on sale, and I would like to pick up a nice kids tent.

Kids have their own tent.

A 7x7 or 8x8 will hold two kids and all their stuff easily.

Something like this.... and it's on sale!

We share a tent for now. I want to get them in the tent and me in the hammock though.

I'm all for kids in their own tent. I think which tent you get depends on what type camping your doing. And the fact that it's going to be a kid's tent indicates (at least to me) you don't want to spend a lot on it as it will receive more than it's share of abuse. I've found a great all around tent for backpacking and/or car camping is the Eureka Apex 2 XT. It's not terribly heavy and has a ton of room. And you can usually find them under $100.
