A little childhood humor

How many of you have been camping as a child and it starts raining and you hear mother yelling, "Get out of the water, you're going to get wet." I can't be the only one that had a mom that didn't think about what she was saying when she said those words. I can see if it's lightning, but a simple rain? I never did understand that one.

I was lucky we never had this issue but I do remember having it when we would be swimming in a near lake or even a pool. I always wondered if the parents actually thought about it before they said it or noticed after it was said.

That is pretty funny, my parents never said that to me, but I did catch myself saying something like that to the grandkids. Not sure if they noticed, but I had a pretty nice chuckle about it.
