Default Pictures of My Tent

I have 3 tents but this one is my favorite. I bought it in 2006 for 150 bucks. It's a REI Halfdome. Great in the rain, wind and plenty of room in the vestibules. I would recommend it to anyone. Although I bit on the heavier side these days. Just wanted to post some pictures of my girl. Feel free to post some pics of your own.

It's in there somewhere, can you see it? Holy Cross Wilderness.

Nice pictures! Love the tent too. Isn't it nice when you buy something and it lasts long enough for you to get the purchase price of use out of it. Sometimes it does pay to buy quality.

Awesome pics! Have you started an album yet? I liked the way the other site had a forum for photos that you could just browse through for a lengthy period of time. Do you mix fishing with backpacking?
I can't believe how much that tent has changed over the last 6 years! Mine has never been above 5k.

Always. If I know there is going to be opportunity to fish. Here's a picture of me, my tent and my fly rod going down to the lake. Fly rod is the case on my left shoulder.

I can't tell from the pic, but is it one of those that you can break down small? What about bait...cast iron fry pan?!!! You would never catch and release I hope, I hope, I hope!!!! I was wondering if those mountain lakes had any fish in them. If I lived there I would have to search out outfitters to cart my stuff in for a long week of hiking and good eating. Do you tie your own flies? I LOVE fishing!!! Now I'm very hungry.

Nice!

I have the Quarterdome I use for solo backpacking. But since moving to CO, I think the dry air has tightened the sleeves. It makes it impossible to get the poles in and set up. I usually end up getting pretty frustrated with it after about 5 minutes.

I also have a The North Face Canyonlands, a 4 season Marmot and a Henry Shires Double Rainbow. I'd like to send my DR back to Henry and have them do the seam sealing because I made a mess of it.

My next 3 season tent will be a clip tent. They're so much easier to manage.
