Default Seasonal Churches

To all you seasonal campers out there, do you try to find a church with the same beliefs as you when you're out camping for a few weeks?

We try to but it's not always possible. It's not like we have a weird belief, we're baptists but sometimes we just can't find a church around that "feels" right while we're in our camping clothing. Can you just see me walking into church with dirty shorts and t-shirt on? LOL

I'm an oddball denomination, WELS Lutheran, so there really aren't many of my churches across the US. It's a sad but true commentary on our modern churches though as Camoguy pointed out. I don't think I'd get a warm reception in most churches with my wild camping hair and sooty camo pants. I've always thought it odd that the one place in the world where you should be able to 'come as you are' most people feel the need to don their 'Sunday's best'.

I have my own beliefs and I practice my religion wherever I am at the time. In my opinion you do not need to be in a church to worship a deity.
