...to get away from a predator you don't have to be the fastest prey. You only need to be faster than the slowest.

Wild animals don't really like to interact with people true, but find your self walking towards down wind and you might get closer than you bargained for. It's usually a good idea to make a lot of noise to warn any animals in this case, but you never know.
