It is hard to see other people leave on a camping trip, or any trip, when you can't go. Make some tentative plans. Start writing down lists of things you want to bring and the things you want to do. That will make you feel much better and will give you hope. Once you have made your plans, stick to it and don't let anything but an emergency get in your way. There are many good camping days ahead.

Cappy's got a great idea! I would do the same while I'm at home, like the saying, it helps saves gas and money. But on the other side, work earns you money so it's understandable that you cannot leave it just to camp for a day.

Great suggestion, Cappy! Me and my kids usually do that, especially during those times when we'd have to cancel a few camping trips because of work. It pacifies the kids and me from being frustrated of not being able to go on our camping trips.
