Default Sparkles and Safety

We don't usually let our kids play with sparklers, but when camping with friends they had a great idea. They had brought 2 pairs of masonry gloves. That meant two kids could play with sparklers at a time while wearing the gloves. Worked great and gave me peace of mind.

Wow, that is not a bad idea. If you are going to do it then 2 at a time, with safety gloves and parental supervision is the best way to go! Nice work on being a good parent!

They do but if you are talking about young kids especially, they still throw off sparks that can burn their little hands. Great idea Limbs!

That is an interesting idea. I may have to try that next year.

I used to play with sparklers when I was 4 or 5. I never burned myself. Then again, I'd been taught to respect fire by that point, so I was careful.

Very nice idea and after our celebration this year it might be needed for adults next year. We had a random piece the kind that normally shoot up hit two off then went sideways. Many of us watched as three adults did a skip, hip, jump & jive before being able to put it out.
