Staying Up Late?

Some people I travel with like to stay up late on camping trips but I don't like it because tomorrow morning we will all be too tired for activities we planned on doing. Are you like this?

It depends on the company. Sometimes we just like to hang out as long as we feel comfortable and then postpone our activities. Sometimes we have enough discipline if we really want to do something important.

It really depends on the situation and activities planned on the next day. I like to stay up late, and enjoy the campfire and company, for as long as possible. I feel fine, the next day, almost like the wilderness energizes me.

About energizing, that is absolutely true! There is nothing like spending time with friends outside, even if there is alcohol involved. I'm almost like new in the morning.

I don't mind staying up late as long as it is not too late because to me camping is about exploring and if I can't explore tomorrow rested then what's the point.

My best friend is a night owl and I am a morning bird. It makes things very difficult when we go out because one of us will have to change our pattern. In the end it causes us to camp together less often than we used to.

We like to stay up late when we camp. We enjoy the nighttime air and the fire, and we love to gaze up at the stars. Even though we stay up late, we still get up relatively early and do all the activities we had planned for the day, and no one's ever complained of feeling too tired to enjoy the trip.

When we are at home, we go to bed early, so that we can get up the next morning and feel rested before work. When we go camping, though, we view it as a getaway, and it puts us all in a party mood, so we definitely stay up late.

This is the perfect time to do your thing. I don't smoke but I have other stuff I like to do. It's funny and I can't explain it precisely but feeling of sitting by the fire at night is really something special.
