Actually, I'm a bit expecting it since it might be a bit too chilly outside for some of them, especially the ones that are not used to or haven't been camping yet. We're planning of setting up our living room as well so just in case they decide to go and stay inside, we've got them covered.

If I were you I would forget about movies. Today's kid are plugged into electronics all the time and need to learn that there are other ways to be entertained. Play some games if you think it is necessary.

I won't leave lights on and set up the living room either. You are making it too easy for them to give up and come in the house.

Kids rise to the level of expectation you set for them. Don't expect them to give up.

Thanks for the heads up, ppine. We're actually planning on moving our entertainment system upstairs during the entire party and then set up a tent in the living room so just in case it's way too chilly for them at night, they can move inside. Like I mentioned earlier, we're not sure if some of the kids my son's inviting over have any experience camping, and the last thing we'd want are their parents telling us that we're forcing the whole camping thing a bit too much on their kids.

Back to my original post, big tent, lots of blankets, lots of boys, don't worry.
