Awesome! Thanks. I'll look into it. It's a little far but if it is a big event it might be worthwhile.

- Do you have any contact information? Maybe a link to the event?

Just kidding!

Well, I talked with the wife because she is going to be out in Chattanooga some time in May and will be traveling around between TN, AL and GA for about a week.
Imagine my surprise when it was during the same time.

So it looks as if I will be contacting the organizers tomorrow. I am very excited as I have just started on this business venture and have been looking for a way to get my product "out there" and needed a good testing ground for sales. This fits the bill.

The bad part is I'm gonna be awful busy between now and then to make this happen.

Refrigerator, any information you can offer about the event or location that isn't on the web site would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting this.

Jolly Rogers. I have never actually read the web page since I live 12 miles from Damascus and go every year I never had a reason to look at the info.

When you do get there you should talk to other vendors especially Backpacker.com who will be at the Campground booths about other events that happen all the US each month. Like SO Ruck and many many other outdoor related events that attracts vendors and people like gear heads like myself.

Thanks again for the info. The biggest dilemma now is weather or not I should try to make it a motorcycle trip! I have a hitch and can pull a trailer. Just depends on how much product I need to bring and if I intend to do any fabrication on site.
I could also ship my inventory out there and pick it up at the post office to save on space.
Lots to do, lots to do...

I'll keep my fingers crossed and maybe we can meet out there.

Well, I was too late. All of their vendor spaces are sold out. Deadline was March 1st. They did say that they had a few spots left March 1st and that they allowed a few vendors to fill them after that but I just missed it.

So now I am on the waiting list for next year and this year if anyone backs out.

Go anyway and check out a strategy for next year. Get a feel on what you want to accomplish and set your core values on your experience this year.

At your suggestion I was planning on going to Trail Days with a buddy just to scope it out. I got a call today that they had a commercial vendor cancel and that they had a spot open. Still waiting on the registration info but it looks like I'll have a booth over with the "big dogs".

Come by and see the wee little sole proprietor stove maker in the middle of the big corporations!

I welcome to any suggestions/advice you might have for this event.
