What About Hats?

Does any one here hate hats as much as I do? I hate to wear anything on my head while I'm out hiking. I know I should because my hair line part does get burned but I just hate to wear one. It makes me so much hotter too. Does anyone go "head naked" besides me?

I only wear a hat when it's realy hot. Or really cold. I have a thick head of hair so I often dont wear a beanie in the snow, but in the desert sun I like a hat with the sunscreen all around the neck. It's lighter in color than my hair and has better moisture wicking properties.

Hats make me too hot too. I just can't wear one. But I do wear one of those cooling neckerchiefs all the time. I love it. I also wear a scarf tied around my head for a sweatband. But to each his own.

I tend to sweat a lot when I wear a hat. I do not like them! Some people swear by them because they keep the sun out of your face but I'd much rather wear sunglasses.

I wear hats occasionally, but most times when I wear something on my head it is a bandanna. Whenever I am going to be outside in the heat I wear one. That way I don't have to deal with my hair and it helps keep the sweat out of my eyes.

I am with everyone else, I don't like wearing them because it makes me sweat more. My head goes naked and I put waterproof sunscreen on to protect my face.

I am a hat fan but I burn really easily so it's a good way to keep the sun off of my face. I agree they do make your head hot though.

The way my hair looks in the morning when I get up, there's no way I'm not wearing a hat. LOL I just deal with the heat and sweat until I can shower.

I like wearing hats but I don't like the effect they have on my hair. In the summer I use Bear Grylls's Desert Hat or just some plain baseball cap.

I don't like hats either but I never go out in the sun without one. It is just smart to think ahead and avoid harmful influence of the sun.
