Wild kids - unattended

If there is an attendant, they should be the one's to take charge of the situation. It's a shame that people can't take responsibility for their own children. Mine aren't perfect but I can say, if they are somewhere that could be potentially dangerous I am there. They don't misbehave too much when we are camping because they know they will suffer the consequences if they don't behave.

Depends on the location and how your boss views it. I was a lifeguard as a teen. We had a nonsupervised kids rule. Every time I made a kid leave their parent would come over and start yelling at me. It's a crappy position to be in at 16 to have a 36 year old man yelling at you in front of everybody. Even if you can deal with that, if your boss doesn't support you, it's total no-win. After a while you resign yourself to the fact that it's easier to deal with the idiot brat than to have a confrontation with the idiot parent.
