Default Golf carts!

I have seen a lot of golf carts lately. They have been cruising up and down my road! I live in the country. They drive me crazy! I would not want to own a golf cart. Do you own one? Why would you choose a golf cart over an ATV?

In the country I dont know why you would want a golf cart over ATV, execpt I think you can get (or could get) tax credit for buying an "green" vechile. Yes golf carts qualified under that catagoy.

Now I will also say though, that the town I grew up in, Peachtree City GA, we had golf cart paths all over town. You were not allowed to take ATVs on the golf cart paths. So it actually made since to have a golf cart and we had lots of fun on them growing up and drving around town on them.

But in the country I would rather have an ATV any day.

The side by side ATV's are the rage around town these days. Units like the Polaris Razor, the Arctic Cat Prowler and others can be seen daily in town.

Hi...

Yes, there are quite a few ATVs in this area. Off the golf course though, golf carts aren't going to be seen much, other than in the many summer camps in the area. On the roads...no.

Golf carts make sense in a town, they save gas,do not make alot of noise, and don't jam up the streets like cars do. I wish we were allowed to use them here but unless you have a state registered, state inspected, insured vehicle around here it is illegal to operate on the streets.

I would rather have an ATV. Golf carts need roads, going off road on a golf cart could be hazardous, at least to your dignity. But they have a place in the whole four wheels and a steering wheel world.

I do think golf carts in the city should have their own trails. They are a hindrance on the highways and don't pay for the use of the roads in any way, do they? I think they should stay where they belong -- on the golf course.

I do not own a golf cart. However, if someone wants to donate a 2 seater go kart to me so I can take my kids around the yard I will send you lots of gifts.

These people are just driving them up and down the road. I would die laughing if they actually took the golf carts through the woods on our trails. Would I help them if they got stuck? I won't answer that!

Jason - I had a go-kart as a kid. I loved that thing. I helped my dad and brother build it so they had to let me drive it. I didn't have an ATV though.

Because ATV chews up the grass on the golf course!

Call the cops, they should not be on the road.
