Default Off roading

Does anybody here ever go off roading in a truck? We used to do this all the time in high school and it was such a blast. A friend of mine had a 4 wheel drive blazer and we'd find the muddiest field we could and just hit the gas. It was even more fun when other people would come along and bring their trucks.

I used to own a 4x4 years ago. It was alot of fun and I do miss it from time to time. We used to go out in the woods and out on the sandy beaches. Always were good memories. Maybe I should get another one but I already have too many.

My husband and I use to do this too. He had a 4 wheel drive truck and we had a blast.
Now that I have kids, they take after my husband. My son took his jeep off roading and ended up sinking it in a huge muddy swamp. It was so deep in that the mud was going in the windows!! They crawled out and walked to the road to find help. The next day someone towed his jeep home- it was a muddy mess inside and out!

Not anymore, the closest we go to off-roading is 4-wheeling in the mud. It's one of my favorite places to ride, the mud that is. Sure it's a mess but it's so much fun! We used to go mudding in trucks when I was in high school, man it's been years.

We still go off-roading sometimes, but not like we did before kids and responsibilities. lol We went a few months ago to some hunt club land my husband had to post signs on. It brought back a lot of memories of us doing crazy things years ago!

I still do it every now and then. I have a earlier models of the Toyota Tacomas. Can't afford to rig it and lift it, but it sounds like a plan. Mudding is awesome except when you have to do extra cleaning. Wish I had a separate truck just for rock crawlin and off roading.

Trails for the Jeep are getting too far.

I saved this Polaris Ranger from the bone yard and have gotten most of the bugs worked out.

There are trails for the Ranger closer to the house and my daughter drives me around in it. Hopefully it will be good experience for her when she is old enough to drive.

I have a jeep that I go off roading with. I have so much fun with it. My kids think I am crazy, but they enjoy the ride as well.

Never any "real" off roading in my truck yet. I've taken it down some of the back country roads which smaller cars would get stuck in, a UPS truck got stuck in and the first tow truck that went to get the UPS truck out got stuck in. But the UPS thing is a whole other story. There is supposed to be a few mud pits around here, but I have never been to them.
