Trailer or seat for the little one? How do you bring your little one along with you? Do you have a seat attatched to your bike or do you have a trailer? I saw someone with a trailer and it just seemed that the child is so far away.

There are pros and cons to either. If you fall with a child in a seat they can get hurt badly. If you have them in a trailer, the trailer can tip or roll over when you take corners quickly. I prefer the tag along bikes. Its an extension pole for your bike that has a child sized seat and peddles on. They have to be a bit older but they keep up with you and are more in control.

I have something similar to this Amazon.com: Avenir Discovery Child Bike Trailer: Sports & Outdoors but a lot less expensive. I've had the bike fall over before and it stayed standing. I can fit up to two kids in it, and has a little storage in the back, along with the side pockets where my daughter stores her drink. When she hits about 4 I am thinking of a tag along bike like OpenAir mentioned.

I do not have my own children at the moment but I am sure that I would prefer the trailer. There is one simple reason for this: I think that the children would be more comfortable in it.
