Default ATV for a toddler

A family member suggested this last week and while we have no issues with this, its something new and we have no idea where to start. How young can a child be on something like this?

To me, it would depend on the person that is the driver. It all depends on how mature someone is thats doing the driving. Ive seen toddlers on Harleys!

I think a lot of people don't realize just how dangerous these things are which is why there are so many accidents on them by young and old. But for a Toddler? No way unless you are talking about those that run on a battery and don't go more then a few mph. You're talking something completely different then.

I wouldn't put a kid on an ATV that was under 6, they have to at least understand they can get hurt and not be afraid to get hurt.

America is not the land of (get everything you don't deserve) Its the land the (work your ass off and make your own way), if you don't like it go to china, they have free health care and 1$ a day wages.

Yeah, there is now way I would get an ATV for a toddler or let a toddler ride on an ATV, even with a helmet. I think what the other person suggested is better. Get one of those battery operated ones that makes a toddler have the feeling of an ATV without the danger.

No way in the world that I would put a toddler on an ATV...are you serious? I say at least 8 or 9 before you even consider it.

Check your state laws as they do vary but many follow the same guideline as the state of Kentucky.

No one under 12 may operate an ATV over 70 cc in engine size.
No one under 16 may operate an ATV over 90 cc in engine size.
No one under 16 may operate an ATV without parental supervision.
