Ads for horses I saw an ad in one of my free local newspapers. Someone was selling a horse for $500. Do you think that is a fair price for a horse? I thought they were a lot more than that, but I could be wrong. I was wondering if something might be wrong with this horse.

I would wonder the same thing. It just might be that the person is moving, selling their property, can't care for the horse, or something like that though. If you're interested in buying I'd call and ask!

That seems like a low price for the horse. Have you seen the horse. There could be something wrong with him. The way things are today though, chances are the guy just needs to get rid of him.

I think it would depend on different things. Such as the type of horse, and age. Also how badly they want to sell the horse. I would definitely ask for vet records and verify the information with a vet first.
