Cleaning out stalls

My daughter went to a friends house over the last weekend and she helped clean out stalls. She asked if they needed any help and I was thinking she meant brushing the horses. She is so sore now!

I have to laugh at her. She did get to brush the horses when they were done.

What a good sport she was. Cleaning out stalls is not an easy job! It's a smelly job too. I'm glad she was able to brush them in the end. It's always fun to do that.

How is she today? I bet still sore - it's usually worse on the second day! I bet she won't offer so easily the next time. Man owning horses is a tough job!

Great exercise! Now she knows why most horse people are in great shape. LOL She was extremely polite to help out with the job. Cleaning stalls is no one's favorite part of having a horse. But, if she was thinking she wanted one of her own, at least now she knows what is involved.
