Do you remember your first horseback ride? The first time I rode a horse, I was 10 years old. I remember looking up at the horse, who's name was Flower, and thinking "wow, this thing is huge". My family and I went on a guided tour on horseback and I remember all Flower wanted to do was eat flowers. From time to time my sister still teases me about how I kept repeating "giddy up Flower", "go faster Flower", "c'mon Flower". Still, I did have fun and I won't trade the experience for anything in the world.

Not counting pony rides as a kid where the ponies are all hooked up to a circular, spinning contraption - I think my first ride was at 16. It was also a huge horse, and I felt SO overwhelmed because it kept trying to take off running!

I've been on horseback since I was an infant so I guess I can say no, I don't remember. I used to ride the mules when my father plowed and rode the horses when we were haying when I was too little to work. I remember those but not the earlier ones.
