Default Mini Horses

Does anyone keep mini horses? I have a friend who has a bunch of them and they are pretty neat little animals. They are very intelligent but they are mini horses and not ponies. I've seen these little guys do some pretty intelligent things including opening their gate to get out. The little stinkers.

I've seen these too and yes they are said to be very intelligent and can be trained to do many things. They are kind of funny to look at as it's hard to envision a horse this small!

Oh I love these little horses! They are so cute. And yes I have also heard they are trained for a lot of things. Seems like I heard that they were being trained as 'seeing eye dogs' err horses. Very smart animals indeed.

They are very intelligent but you have to remember they are horses and not dogs. They do require care that a horse does even at their size. They require being shod if they travel on anything but grass, they need their teeth floated every now and again and have to have their shots like the big boys.

I have seen a few more but never had any large animals. Most places that I have lived at are smaller city condo's/apartments so they are kind of against large breeds of any type.
