Default Saddle Sore

Alright, I hadn't been on a horse for several years. I love to ride, but it's just because I haven't had the opportunity to go. We finally got to go riding when we went to a local state park Friday night. I was off Friday so we went to the park, camped and slept Thursday night so we would be there to get up early and go on the overnight horse riding trip. So we picked up the horses and we all got going. We got back Saturday night. I don't think I have been able to straighten my legs since. My butt is so sore I'm sitting on a few cushions and it still hurts. Anyone else love to ride enough to hurt like this?

Yup, those muscles haven't been used for a while and they will protest. I ride every so often for pleasure but it also keeps my "riding" muscles in shape. Prevents problems when I want to go on a long ride.

Overnight horse riding trip?! That's awful lot, I think. I don't ride horses but I had that experience once when I just started going to the gym. Using the exercise bike for half and hour made my butt so sore.

Put a little bagbalm on it and get back on!
