| Eating worms Have you ever eaten a worm? I mean like when you were a kid. I'm sure I did, my parents tell me I did when I was a little kid. The thought of it grosses me out right now.

| No I haven't ate worms, I've only seen people eat exotic foods and worms are included in that category. They are said to be edible but I have to agree that eating them grosses me out as well.

| Oh, what a totally skeevy idea! I didn't mind handling worms as a kid, but I don't think I would have ever put one in my mouth even then. That is just yucky.

| My daughter did this when she was younger too. I of course got them out of her mouth prior to her swallowing. It was funny, she had the nasty brown junk from the bowl all over her face!

| I have eaten a mill worm before, but never your typical earth worm. I have seen what comes out of them when they get squished. Not very appetizing...maybe fried.

| I've heard rumors that earthworms were used as extenders for burger patties. I have no concrete evidence on this because it was just a rumor.
Although I've played with worms when I was a child, I never ate them because they are wiggly and not palatable.

| Yike! I have never eaten it. A worm is the last food I want to take when hiking, fishing, trekking or having dinner. I did sometimes eat fried crickets though in my childhood. Mind you, it's tasty and crispy.

| They produce slime when they are disturbed. I don't think I would ever eat one unless I was starving and I couldn't catch anything else. It would have to be a matter of life and death though.

| Ewwwww! No way. I would like you say-if it was a matter of life and death. I don't know if I could even eat one then. There are a lot of other things that I could catch before I would have to revert to the worm.
