Fishing tourney this weekend

This weekend, one of the biggest fishing tournaments in my area is taking place. I don't personally compete but it's always fun to see the trophy fish and what they are catching. The community has a big fish fry, poker tournament and city wide garage sales, plus a parade and fireworks. It's a lot of fun and people come from all over the state to compete.

Awesome! Sounds like a good time for everyone. My wife would love the garage sales and I love parades and fireworks. I love to fish too. I would probably be in the tourney with all guns blazin'. Love to fish, but I don't like to eat them, so I take them to the local homeless shelter. Some of the people there love the fish and are eager to get them and clean them. It's a great treat for them.

Scotty that is awesome that you share your catch! I am sure they are happy to receive them. The water in the river was a little high today but that should make for good fishing. We did some serious yard saling today and tomorrow we will be heading out to the poker tournament and beer tent to listen to the band and dance the night away.
