| Gigging Frogs I know a lot of people don't like frog legs, but I do. I've been gigging frogs since I was a little boy and prepping them for Mom to fry. Does anyone else here like to eat frog legs. BTW-the ones they have on the dinner bars are nothing like the fresh legs.

| I can't get past the thought of eating frogs. I have been told they are close to chicken but can't bring myself to actually eat them.

| I got to agree with Camoguy. Deep fried frog legs are simply delicious. I actually gut it and remove the skin, head, and then deep fry the whole thing.

| Avid, my stomach just did a flip-flop.
I had a bite of one once in "a place that did them up right." Nothing close to chicken. My mom loves them when they are cooked right, but I'll pass.

| We lived on a 20 acre farm when I was a boy. We had about three ponds on that land, and we went frog gigging almost every night. I love frog legs, especially when they're still attached at the waist. You can make 'em walk and freak out the women-folk.
I haven't had any fresh ones in a long time. Wish I knew somebody who had some.

| This really surprises me. I thought the French were the only folks who avidly ate frogs legs but I stand corrected. Never tried them myself and wouldn't if offered!

| I have never tried them honestly but it given the chance (and the right dipping sauce) I would try it. I was raised to never talk bad about things I have not experienced, so that kind of stuck with me in a good way.

| I'd have to travel to a very clean place to eat them, Frogs spend their time in ditches round here and lots of run off from sewers and oil and what not. But I'd definitely try them if someone prepared them for me .
America is not the land of (get everything you don't deserve) Its the land the (work your ass off and make your own way), if you don't like it go to china, they have free health care and 1$ a day wages. |

| I'm not too fond of them but it isn't because of the thought or the lack of opportunity to have them fixed by my Mother. My father loved them and we would always go out and gig when we had the chance. As a matter of fact, the last time he was sick, before he passed, he asked for some and I went out gigging. He had a wonderful meal!
