You asked 2yrs ago about what gun to use for squirrels. I just jointed, but I have used 22LR and 22Mag, but I really like using my .32 cal TC percussion Black powder rifle, I also use a TC .54 cal percussion for deer, hardly ever use my other guns anymore. The .32 cal is more of a challenge, have to take head shots other wise the .32 cal opens up the squirrel and ruins the meat, if I don't hit'em in the head I don't need my knife to gut them.
