Peg and I decided to head over to a strawberry festival Saturday and boy are we glad, cause Sunday we got over 4" of rain. Anyways, here is the story with pictures that get big if ya click them.

Looks like a good time was had by all Cappy. Around here, we have a blackberry festival but it's not time yet. That comes around in July or August. I do agree with you about "so many festivals, so little time." They're all fun to go to.

Nevada is the land of loose laws and we some regional favorites like the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, Hot August Nights (hot rods for a week), camel races, Testicle Festival (bull calf nuts), Hot Air Ballon Races, Street Thunder (motorcycle festival), Celtic Festival and Burning Man.

God, I love fresh strawberries. It will be quite a while before I get to pick any around here, though. Our tulips are only about 4" or 5" tall at this point, so I'm seeing a later than usual harvest of anything too much locally.

The berrys are in full swing here and the lil patch in the yard is puttin out some woppers. They made a wonderful adition to yesturdays BBq, more on that later, but for now this was one of the cappytizers at yesturdays BBQ
